Guys we are nearing the end of our current run of kits and I know a lot of us are prepping for hot summer driving. So I wanted to make sure my SS brethren get first shot at the last few remaining kits. We have a few 6.2/6.5 kits left and down to one 6.5 Turbo kit before we will be out for a...
The attachment does not work but if you have a HMMWV then you should have the return as part of the kit. It sounds like you may have ordered a civilian kit? Where did you buy the kit, on our site or EBAY? PM me and I will look up your order to see what you got.
We need to cool the block as well as the heads. We did consider tapping into the freeze plugs in the block but we reached balance without having to complicate installation and testing. Also by adding coolant to the pressure side you need to also find a higher pressure source than the water...
We just published our latest blog post. A full write up on the 6.2 and 6.5 diesel engine cooling Paradox.

You will need to call me and get a couple of parts. The turbo kits are sightly different and have a lower block plate design and a hard 90 deg at the plate to clear the before mentioned bracket. We keep them in stock for just what you are doing.
Separate question for my customers now. We had a customer with a 6.5T HMMWV that had some clearance issues with the wastegate actuator bracket on the passenger side being too close to the block plate fitting. We have installed three in our shop without issue so we are assuming his might have...
A lot of comments here. Simply put the statements about overall system temp not significantly changing are absolutely correct. There is however an efficiency improvement due to the fact that the front two cylinders are overcooled which reduces power in diesels. The rears are overheated which...
It was discussed that using IR external temps is the least conclusive temperature testing as it is influenced more by underhood temps than internal block temps. Direct contact sensing is the only way to really properly see what is happening. The fact that the fan comes on less and with less...
We do NOT expect much if any gain in HP/TQ directly from the balanced cooling effect of the kit. That being said one excellent way to kill power in a diesel is in the OVERCOOLING of the engine and as hot as the rear two cylinders are, the fronts are under temp as well. The middle cylinders are...
Just to clarify, we are going to the dyno to test other items but while there will re-test our kit, since we never did get a HP/TQ difference and A/F ratios before and after. We did all the other testing during development but this one will have an independent observer (the dyno operator) who...
Here is the finished product of our new billet plates. This new design is machined on a HAAS 5 axis CNC machine out of solid 6061 billet and then anodized for long life and good looks. Where the original plates were a one by one machining process, these are made in bulk.
In other news we...
Here is the latest update. Solid billet 5 axis CNC machined rear 6061 aluminum plates! This will allow us to supply our new client (the largest Humvee operator in the world) with the kits in volume! Just a quick pic from the freshly machined parts. They will be hard anodized as well.
A little update. Here are pics of the next gen kits available for the CUCV trucks and civilian 6.2/6.5/6.5Ts and also HMMWVs in the coming days as the last of the BLUE kits is sold out (we will continue to support the potential needs of BLUE kit owners for spares). The big changes are we are...
The full CUCV kits are being released this month. They are in all black minus a custom CNC aluminum piece that they need in order to fit the kit which will stay in natural aluminum to match the crossover and outlet flange. The Civilian kits are also out later this month and are in all black...
The cooling system (minus the radiator) and the flow within the block are still the same. The difference is the added heat from the turbocharging which only makes the situation worse. Overall his results are valid for others with 6.2/6.5 engines. The radiator being aftermarket might effect...
