    Strange starting issue

    My earlier M1008 had a little plunger on the top of the filter housing. I used to depress it to bleed off the compressed air in the filter while the engine was idling. Just a little pfft, but it made a huge difference in the starting. The only time I ever had to do it was after a filter change...
