I disposed of this one this weekend. I hope to never see another one. A word of caution - it is possible to turn tight enough for a M989A1 to contact the bed of an M925. Ask me how I know......

You'll know it's there as soon as you pull in somewhere you have to back out of.... :)

I went back and replaced the main draw bar pin with something easier to swap back and forth without tools. Makes flipping the lunette a 10second operation. I chose the pin with the most taper at the point - makes it easier to thread through the shock.

End result -

It took literally a minute or two using a tapered punch. I like the idea of using a pin with a handle and hairpin type retainer for ease of flipping it frequently. I'll probably implement this next time I am at tractor supply.

I flipped the lunette on my GETT generator trailer. It's essentially an M1102. Less than an hour start to finish. A slot has to be cut so that the top and bottom are the same. 4 1/2" grinder with a cutoff wheel and a grinding wheel. Now I can flip the lunette to be level behind either the M925...

I dragged it home...
