I tested the alternator 12V lead (68 ) and the one running to the TCM (290/291/537) seperately. The one coming from the alternator showed 0.00 milliamps (and infinite ohms), the one going to the TCM had 2.97-3.00 milliamps. But anyway, you´re right, such a small current is negligible.
First, thanks to Milcommoguy for the heads-up on this. I just got my first A2 vehicle, and was just about to throw in a simple disconnect-ground-switch. That´s definitely not enough. I was glad I found this here just in time.
