    General GM diesel engine question

    Sigh...not this again. The 6.2L/6.5L family came from Detroit Diesel when it was a subsidiary of GM. Sorta like how AAMCo used to be part of GM but now is entirely separate (and even sells axles to Chrysler and others). Detroit Diesel still makes 6.5L motors and parts for them. Every HMMWV...
