    Your signature line is blank. What drivetrain is in your HMMWV? I know the 4l80e uses a throttle position sensor at the injection pump. When that gets out of line or dirty, it can cause odd isuues. I don't know if the N/A motors have that or not.

    So, when you have lots of throttle and no power, you got white smoke, which could be unburnt fuel. Maybe running too rich at that point. Look at you air restriction gauge and push the little button at the bottom. Does the little meter fall? Meaning, is your air filter plugged up?

    What does your WAIT light do when you try to start it?

    Take the filler cap out and try to start it with it open.

    Did you not have the cap on the filler neck? That should be airtight at that spot. And, try not to pressure wash through the hood grills. You can bend the cooling stack fins.
