    I was able to locate the complete drag link but not both ball joints. I think both sides of mine are worn. I'll replace as a unit.

    I checked my truck. Both ball joints on the drag link are worn. Looking up the part posted earlier turns up a single ball joint/tie rod end. My friend says one end must have backwards threads. Can anyone confirm one side left hand the other right hand threads?

    I wonder why it wore out so quickly. I guess big tires makes for high forces. Could it possibly been because if alignment or drive shafts?

    so if I grab the tie rod with a big pair of pliers will I feel the free play? My truck only has 16k on the odo. Was this on a high mileage vehicle?
