    CV boot on HMMWV

    Great thread. I've read that there are different types of 10k axles. One has a flat spot on the large, inner assembly, one does not and the boots are different. Is this true? Are there any visual cues to help me identify 7k vs. 10k axles or do I need to measure the shaft?
