    M38A1 or CJ5?

    The M38A1 is just a darn good jeep. I have a 42 GPW, 51 M38, and 53 M38A1. I enjoy the comfort of the M38A1. The 38A1 was my first MV, got it 30 years ago and am still enjoying it, but picked up and M151A2 a year ago and could now be spoiled by that one.. Happy trails.

    That is good. You have an M38A1 body with the aforementioned grill and dash being a CJ5. Looks like a great starter project.

    mine is 68014 with a 12/53 build date. Looks like yours has a CJ5 fuel tank too. CJ's have the small mouth tank. Does it have a tailgate?
