No suggestions for transport, but maybe you can cut a deal with a towing/ recovery company (with a secure yard), and negotiate some small change to pay them just to let you drop it in their yard until you're ready to haul it off. If they got room, there's nothing to lose for them. First, ask...

Engine Hoists can be rented at most good Tool Rental places for a reasonable fee. It's just an idea (can help on the out-of-pocket expenses).

I get 80 mph, but 90 mph is just plain a scary speed. Things go bad real fast at 90, especially with something like an 18-wheeler hauling 30-40 tons.

Sometimes I feel dread before starting a new project, just because of the anticipation of how wrong it can all go. No matter how hard you try to get something right, it often seems like the gods are out to get you. You just got to laugh.

I wonder what the temperature at the nut would have to reach in order to do just that. I'm thinking fairly warm.
