    Ok, I'll start looking for one. Just out of curiosity, why would you not want the thermal protection? Obviously they upgraded to one without it, but any idea why?

    Looking at the diagram in the manual, it looks like there is an extra plug on the end of the ME starter. Will that cause any issues? Am I mistaken?

    Does anybody know of a civilian part number for a starter that will fit the Cat 3116 in my '97 LMTV? My starter broke, and I need a replacement. Thanks!
