I have leaks which I'm tracking down slowly.
But it takes a good 10 minutes to fill my air supply from zero. My belts aren't tight but they aren't loose either.
Had a few hrs to spare Thursday night and decided to get the hood put on correctly and see what parts I need to do my air compressor over.
Army did mine already as well...
Oh bother now I need to find something else to get more air faster. I did find a loose hose clamp.
Local brake place has...
Anybody know how much fuel is used in starting the motor? I guesstimate would be cool...
My F350 uses in summer about a 6th of a gal turning over and bringing up the oil pressure.
I'm sure you guys don't worry about it but I do up here.
Do they make fuel temp gauges? You comment on pressure gauge made me think about temperature, as I monitor fuel rail pressure on my 350...but I'd love to see temp.
Is there anyway to make big oil lower their price?
I didn't think so either...
The sad thing is the more people use alternative energy the higher fuel prices will go because big oil doesn't want to lose the linings in their pockets now do they.
Back to your original question.
-Make sure tire...
I just want to see the truck in pieces!
Sorta went like my day.
Had to bring the Ford back to stock, in the snow in the cold and well lets just say manufactures of parts in the US and Canada have different ideas of what 3.5" actually is.
To make matters worse because everything is metric on...
That's funny I posted its brother earlier. I choose the one I used because it showed where the fuel plug was better. At least IMO.
Looking at eh pictures make you wonder why they didn't do that in the first place.
The end result will be similar for both as they are both similar in the design.
Combining this with the turbo kit would be the first steps I would do towards getting more power.
I wonder if anyone has installed a Inter-cooler on these trucks.

Here is the front fuel line.
Tons of posts out there but your right not a lot of pictures. These engines where used in over the road trucks and Combines, so there are plenty of them out there looks like most just walk through the procedure.
It's not so much therory as it's proven in over the road trucks and I don't think there is any measurable HP gains. Realistically it it just balances the fuel amongst the cyclinders. Which when over fueling prevents stressing one more than the other.
I use the term over fueling in...
Have you messed with your fuel button's?
Only reason I ask and this is a big deal when you start messing' with diesels fuel. When you begin to increase the fuel beyond the factory settings your EGT's increase, this can be bad. I'm not saying not to do it, most of these trucks are emissions...
