    The one with the groves in it is found in cj's and the m38 jeeps, MB/gpw/m38a1 all used an drum with an external band. I can tell it is not an m38a1 transfer case because of the vent behind the shifters. The m38a1 transfer case would be set up for a fording line to come of the breather.

    The transfer case is from an mb or a gpw. You can tell my the e-brake.

    looks good. Lots of nice parts. The transfer case in the m38 frame is not correct.
