The more I drive the truck now Im using first gear more.But it is still hard to get it in 2nd gear.I never had a manual trans this bad to shift.But it still works.

Im trying to understand your shifting RPM. Man that sounds high to shift.I took a good look at my RPM today.I shifted between 1800 to 2100 RPM on every shift.And 2100 RPM on the engine sounds alot to me.Maybe im not reading your post right on shifting RPM.

I tried today to take off in 1st gear all day.I cannot get enough momentum to finally get it in 2nd gear,im barely moving to justify doing it.It seems 2nd gear fights to go in when I go from 1st to 2nd.The other gears are fine going in.

I dont like to sit at a stop light very long with my foot on the clutch.Trying not to wear out the thout bearing.A lot of times I take it out of gear way before I stop at the stop sign,and just roll up to it.Then when I try to put it second it sometimes does not want to go in.
