I finally got to try out the Vic-1 intercom going to Haspin :driver:there and back,it really worked very well.Next would like to hook it to a music device. That was a long drive with no tunes to lisen to.Had to listen to the wife for hoursaua.
When I put mine on the trans cover I had to raise the seat about 1/2" off the floor to clear the cable.I dont know why they put that much metal cover over the cable.
Varyag if you want your CX-13089 cable to go to the back of the cab instead of towards the front, take the four screws out of the 2 connectors on the side of the MX-7777/A and you can turn them towards the front, back or down if they get in the way.I have mine towards the back. And my switch is...
Looks great nice job.I was thinking of doing mine like that, but wanted mine a little closer to me to turn the knobs. But yours is out of the way for a middle passenger.
I got my radio cover today from Fair radio,it fits rather nice over my RT-524 and R-442 under the passenger seat. This cover is very well made and the price was very resonable at $33.00 shipped. It adjusts to differant lengths,I think 26" to 37" with snaps.

Army Radio Sales Co.
Its the MX-6707 antennas, dont know if it all works right yet.The antenna clicks when I change some of the stations on the RT-524.And when I hold the mic or the radio on the headset the fan on the RT524 really gets fast.Still trying to figure this whole thing out.I found out one of my new MX-6707...
I just got my RT524,R442 and my Vic1 Intercom installed. All them channels and not one person to listen to.If you decide to do this it was not cheap,it surprised me around $1,400.aua
Installing my VIC-1 and was wondering can you use the 2 plug ins on the left side and the one on the right bottom side.J511,J509 and J503 for the intercom boxes, because I dont see them hooked up on the instructions.I want to hook my boxes to the J504 and the J503.
