Wanted to post a pic down here showing where the truck is today. Finally got the box mounted and am moving forward. I also posted another picture in the newly formed camper section. Thanks to all who have helped since getting the truck! Blair

Unfortunately I have neuropathy (non diabetic) in my feet and have limited feeling in them. Probably had a blister that got infected that I couldn't feel and couldn't see because it was under a callous. I have had feet problems due to it in the past and was the reason I retired early. Any more...

Update Time... Truck stayed at the shop for awhile. Luckily they had space to store it while the tires were ordered and delivered. Unfortunately during that time I managed to get a bone infection in my big toe that moved pretty quickly. End result was getting my big toe amputated to save the...

Thanks for that. It was nice to see it driving. Tires are next up. I cant find a DOT date on the ones I have on the truck...

Pretty good week thus far. Ordered a C solenoid, pressure switch, turbine speed sensor and some gaskets. Installed them and hooked up the harness and got N N on the controller. Guys reinstalled everything and finally took it for a spin around the block. Seemed to work OK and look forward to...

Thanks for that. Oddly, I don't have a code for it. However the 5788 code states that the turbine and speed sensors need to be checked. Blair

Turbine speed sensor. Pulled the pan and dropped the control module and found that. Odd plastic is damaged but not the metal. A problem none the less. Finally figuring out how to post pics... Blair

I have been going through that. Thank you. Learning how to read the schematics... The other odd thing is that the 4414 code states that it shouldn't start in neutral with this code if I am understanding it correctly. Truck starts up with no problem.

I actually have the the pinout guide NDT posted. Just trying to wrap my brain around all the information.

Alrighty... So I went down and spent some time at the shop today poking around the truck with my multimeter and computer. New code 4474, 5788 (both relating to the C solenoid) able to be cleared but return as soon as the truck is started and upon further investigation correct Ohm reading is...

Little update...It was user error on my part not holding the mode button long enough to clear the codes from Friday. Was able to clear the original codes but they were replaced with two additional codes. Turbine speed code and a grounding fault on a solenoid. My guess is who ever installed the...

Thanks for all the information. I will go back down tomorrow and mess with it. I guess the odd part was the fact we couldn't clear the codes with the computer. Computer recognizes the transmission but kind of just sits their. The adventure continues... Blair

I have downloaded it and went through it. Keypad doesnt seem to clear the codes. Was hoping to start from zero if we could get rid of the old codes , now that we have all the solenoids within spec ohm wise. Blair

A quick update...Finally got the truck into the shop with the idea to drop the pan and get to the solenoids. G solenoid was throwing a code and when checked proper ohms were not found. So today when the mechanic dropped the pan he found a part of the wiring harness had been crushed when the pan...

So...after a bit a messing around with it myself. Making sure harness's looked good, no breaks, everything connected and appearing clean and corrosion free I called our local diesel shop to make an appointment. Lucky enough to have a great one that is local and people who trust to send our fire...

I did take the dash apart and checked the plugs. I will need to check again just to make sure. Not much room to get your hands behind there. Heavy grounding strap? I found one grounding the cab to chassis and it was tight. Also the alternator grounding strap was tight. What box are you...

Thank you for that. interestingly I took my volt meter and unplugged the P119 at the bulkhead connector to test to the transmission solinoids. Went through all the pins according to the TM's for resistance. All but the 4422 came back within spec. came back as .3 . Does that mean that its bad...
