ah yes a fire extinguisher, god forbid that were to happen. Also sleeping bag and cot/sleeping pad. That way you can sleep in the bed of the truck and not have to pay for hotels. It may suck, but hey it builds character.

Hope all goes well. I agree with all that TB58 said, and i would also bring a first aid kit, road triangles (in the case you break down on the roadside), and a camera. We want those pictures!
