Yes, If you have a historical registration / plate whether displayed or not. Then you will be held to the restrictions of the historical plate, I.E. " not used for general transportation"

I have attached a pdf of the law. I would suggest printing it out and keeping it with that unmounted plate. While I had some involvement in the text of this bill, I will be leaving my plates on my trucks.
