If you are taking the Lewis and Clark trail, visit Pompey's Pillar. If you haven't already. It is the only place where you can actually see something they left behind. Just go30 miles north on 47 from Hardin and then 25 miles back west on I-94.

Before you arrive at the Little Bighorn Battlefield you will be very near Pomey's Pillar off US 94. This is the only site left that shows evidence of the Lewis and Clark voyage across America. William Clark carved his name and the date on this large outcrop. Maybe it is too corny for you, but...

It's a shame he went all that way and then came back before finishing the trip. But when they blow up on ya...... What can ya do? :cry:

Yep and if I do my paperwork right I may be driving a M1008 to one! :lol:
