Is that a civi kit or a military spring kit?
I have hauled many, many 1.5 ton loads (+/- one yard of gravel). Mine would just kiss the bump stop w 3k in it.
Agree. Love those trailers
Moved my three 1101’s to the ranch. Two were at a friends farm, one in a storage lot. Tired of paying to store it, and no need for my toys to be scattered around.
I was over the maximum length law in TX by a few feet (if I remember correctly). Did not like pulling this into gas stations. Don’t...
I bet it was! I saw how deep you were cutting!
Good work. I welded an identical setup to a similar frame (water buffalo, same frame maybe?) to make a dump trailer. Nice solid setup.
Installed the second (right hand side) electric brakes to the 101A2. Then pulled the bed for painting the frame, and to figure out how to adapt new parking brake cables to Dexter brakes. It’s not a straight switch. Fabrication will be done.
Painted one of the M101A2’s in preparation for sale.
Stripped the peeling CARC, new reflectors etc. Looks brand new again!
Now I want to keep it, but a man only needs so many 101’s ... said nobody, ever. But, I’ll keep two. Sold one, now it’s this guys turn.
Pulled a 101 out of storage and cleaned it up in prep for painting, only to discover that it’s probably one of the nicest of the four that I own!
I’m seriously reconsidering which one of my 4 children I am going to keep. :)
Toby,
Never built a wall, but I do have a cement mixer that goes on the PTO of my tractor. I have sand/gravel pits on the ranch, so I just buy Portland and mix cement myself.
Well, actually I sit in the AC cab and dump the concrete after my guys shovel it into the mixer. Makes for cheap...
I don’t know how much this weighed, but try to find a commercial, single axle, lightweight utility trailer that can do this 15 times in a day.
The tongue on this trailer is light and constructed well. The C-channel with a plate welded on the open side gives the tongue a lot of strength.
