    get a welding self help book, it will explain the basic techniques. from there its all practice.

    Better, get the buddy with a welder to let you play with it, it doesnt take long till you can make strong welds. The good looking welds take lots of practice though ;)

    RE: congrads on the new purchase. your gonna love it. you can order a new seatbelt from LMC truck. as with most of the body panels that you will need. the nice thing with these trucks is that sheetmetal is so cheap for them.
