    I think its the height more than the weight, but it may have been the DOT straps flexing. It pulled well and looks good behind the truck.

    Towed the trailer to a friends to do some welding. A bit concerned about the unit being top heavy. May look into running 2 tires on each side for more stability. Going to wait though to make sure its not just because its only held on with DOT straps.

    Worked on lifting the shelter higher to roll the frame under it. I was almost done when the heavens decided to unload!. No thunder so I kept working. Finished the lift about the time it stopped raining. Need some fab work to mount the shelter. If any one has done this before I'm open to ideas.

    Once I get a replacement I will let you know. I may try and fab something so I can gain room up front.[ QUOTE=M37Dodge;1891825]If you upgrade to the crank up landing wheel setup, I could use your single wheel - if unbent, to replace mine. The dent in the o.d. is ok.

    The bolts look worse than they were. I was surprised that after 63 years they came off quite easy. Of course I have been using PB Blaster every few weeks for 3 months getting ready. I will be looking for a newer landing leg if anyone has one. Prefer one that has a crank type lift.

    Finally started the process of mating the shelter to the trailer. Well actually getting the trailer ready for the shelter. Removed the bed and power washed the frame. I will be looking for a new wiring harness and some other parts for the trailer. Not sure what the tub weighs but its heavy...
