If you google the manual in English there are a few companies selling them. You might look for a MB truck site and download for free.
Ive had over 30 1017's of different years production and never saw one with winch. I have experience only with German army equipment. Maybe another...
I found another photo of the MP 1017 I had. This truck was at a base in Munich that had never been on the road. It plowed snow on the base. The rear cargo cover had never been off. Zero rust. They kept good care of it. Less than 3000 Kms. It still smelled new.
Manual is in English. I also have unimog parts and service books all in English. I got them in the UK.
I would check in canada first. They gave been seen there at limited numbers.
Windshields are available but shipping would kill you! The lights should be a easy fix. MB's gave a good electrical system if no one has messed with it.

No these are 4x4 with reduction and blocking rear diff. Almost the same motor as the unimog 1200 series and up. They run a turbo and use all MB trans, reduction box, and diffs. No ZF stuff.
