One idea the organizers might bring to the DT people- an option for an event-long wristband deal. One price, get an OD wristband good for the whole event. No more walking over to get a enw one each day. It would reduce the workload on the DP staff, and be unique to the Rally.

I think workshops would be a great addition. They would be an excellent way for guys new to the hobby to learn, as well as those of us who ahve done it forever. For example, Doghead can run one on how to use a TM before posting. We can have ones on recovery and safe winch usage, M35...

I would be more than happy to donate some goods as well. Can't predict what I will have on hand a year in advance, but I promise to make it good. An auction, say Friday evening, would be a good way to raise $$$ to cover event expenses.

I may have about 10-12 MURS handhelds available next year, free for use by the group if they are needed.

While I know where you are coming from, now that we are doing hardball convoys into the community it is going to happen eventually, no matter if we like it or not. Better to have a grip on it and somewhat control it than have them show up and surprise everybody.
