    None of those other hobbyist groups have seen a state ban their vehicles from being registered in their state because the state claimed they were unsafe either. But MV owners have seen it happen in one state, and be proposed in others.

    The point people have is that in order to make a deuce safe to drive at 70mph a whole lot of other mods are needed, not just a change in gearing. The brakes, tires, steering, and more all need to be updated. There is absolutely nothing wrong with pointing this out when discussing going faster...
