    If your going to use it like mine the "flag" mount needs to be on the right side of the vehicle. The mill antenna is not supposed to be used for cb but I have been told you can.... I opted to stay under the radar and use all civi equipment.

    I have a 102 on one side of the 1009 and a military whip on the other side. The military whip is for looks and makes a great flag pole:D

    For the money a cobra 29 with a 102" whip is pretty good and they were on sale a few weeks ago at the flyin' j. I'm no expert at this but a friend is. He recommended this setup and I installed it in the 1009. Would post a pic but on my phone! Search "my 1009 CUCV" and you will see some pics...
