    This all seemed too ambitious from the get go. I hope that I am wrong but I bet someone bit off more than they bargained for?? I got my 802a up, running and making power but it was a PITA and a project that I won't tackle again any time soon.

    I am not knowledgeable about the 804-806s it might apply to those as well? The upgrade is definitely for 802/812/803/813 generators,(chapter 5.1, May 2009 version of TB-11-6115-741-24) Maybe we are looking at different TBs, there is a July 2007 version too?     Before you start the genset up be sure it has the fuse upgrade installed on the quad winding circuit as per TB 11-6115-741-24. Mine did not and I presume that is why it was sold. The 802a I am working on looks like the engine starter is new, so I presume there was an engine issue at one time...
