    The stock engine will do 80 mph easily, the military purposely detuned the engines to keep the speed down. I used to work on civilian Hummers/H1's and a 4 door "wagon" as they're labled will do 110mph like skating on ice, so smooth.. I think the detuning involved the retarding if mechanical...
