    Cckw vin #?

    Found it! Found the s/n under lots of paint on passenger side frame rail, between the front spring mount and the shock absorber. Anyone know what year it was made from the number? I'm guessing '43 or earlier since it's a closed cab. Capt Pat, I looked around the floor pan for a data plate...

    Found this no. on the driver's side frame rail just behind the front spring mount. Is that it?....seems strange that it isn't anything like the one bradcckw posted. I didn't see anything on the outside of the frame on the passenger side, but I'll look again.

    I've got a closed cab CCKW that I need to get a title for. Can anyone tell me where to start looking for a VIN #? The only thing I've seen so far is a small tag on the driver's side firewall above the voltage regulator. It's difficult to read with all the paint. There are data tags on the...
