The results of the floor covering are in...
Huge decrease in interior racket and heat transfer.
I can hear the engine through the open window... not through my feet into my skull.
Also, no more heat radiating up from below when not wanted.

after
I just got one roll of each as I was most interested in covering the front footwell that droned horrendously and the heat from the tunnel.
I layed the thinner peel and seal strips on the outer areas of the footwell. Three strips on each side used that whole roll.
I layed the thicker duct foam...
While everyone else is freezing, today was up to 79 and a good day to try to install the LMC truck vinyl floor kit I got for Christmas.
Between the heat
and the droning of the floorboards, I also layed in some poor mans dyna-mat.
One roll each $17 and $19 respectively from lowes.

Motor mounts were the first priority as the lift pump and lines were resting on the frame.
The bushings are next. Just got the last parts.
Body mounts are in surprisingly decent shape. Still pliable and rides nice,
The sway bars are holding their own. Definitely at the end of...

Added a 4" cold air intake tube. Summit parts.
Made a better drink holder. My fav water thermos wont fit these stupid square cup holders.
Haven't found a fire extinguisher I like for the mount spot, so I fabbed up a little tray out of 16g stainless.
Some psa foam in the bottom and some...
Finally got around to hooking up a cigarette lighter/power point. Junk yard score.
While I was under there, I found a courtesy light fixture. Installed bulb to make it functional off the headlight switch dome position, obviously.
Mounted up a cheap fan. Its been record heat here this week. Fan...
I once got a CB900C given to me free because it sat outside uncovered for 10 years with the carbs off. Guy said it was locked up with rust, which it was. I put a couple squirts of ATF in each cylinder and tried to get it to break free with the starter. Two tries each day...Clunk...Clunk...let...
