Well now it seems like the master cylinder has an issue. I forgot to take pictures of the issue before I closed up the shop today. But it seems like at the end of the spring, that piece is three pieces. I only know cause there is a metal piece with holes in it a rubber thing and the metal part...
Well the airpack did say I quit. Luckily I still had the rebuild kit that I bought for the other airpack that I was planning on doing, before I got this one. The major of it was good minus this piece off the air side.

While I'm waiting on some electrical parts I figured I'd deal with the brake issues. When I put everything back together everything worked great. Then I added the remote reservoir and that's when the problems started. I go from have no brakes to brakes locked up. I took the remote reservoir off...
From what I know from this truck it was a Marine Corps truck. Then went to Air Force Reserves at the end of its time. Started off on Camp Pendleton and ended up March ARB. Other then that I haven't been able to get much more. Which is still alot more then some people can find out about their...
Now that makes sense. I didn't even think to look at deep water fording stuff.
And now the other things that didn't seem right makes more sense too.

So dealing some electrical issues still. Can't seem to get any of my gauge to work still and having issues with the lights in the rear. But on top of that brakes now get hard as rock and an air line blew.
Not sure what this one does though. Seems to go to the transmission.

Huge milestone day! She moved and stop with out the help of brick wall. Haha
Finally was able to finish up the brakes with connecting everything and bleeding them and axles were filled back up. Got the brakes down yesterday so let sit overnight and this morning it still had brakes so I figured...
And today she is on her own weight again. Everything lines up right and it all looks good.
Now to run brake lines again and make sure they are down out of the way and get her to stop and move on her own. All in time for parade season hahaha.

Few more days of work and now the truck has all the axles back in places. Donor axle came apart really easy. Found a hand full of metal chunks so that center got tossed off to the side. Cleaned out the housing stripped the brake parts off since those were shot too.
The bent axle well that was...
That's good idea I'll have to see if I have any plywood laying around. If not I could probably use some old metal roof panels

Well the 1st axle is back in place under the truck. Talk about a pain getting across the dirt area and up in place. Definitely need to figure out a better way for the 2nd one.
The 2nd axle will take alittle more time before its ready to go back in place.

I found a nice surprise today when I drained the oil from the four axles. The two that came off the truck nice clean oil no metal no water nothing to cause for worry. Then went to the other two, 1st one started draining ok a bit black but expected being who knows how old. Then half way through...
New parts are ordered. Old stuff cleaned up and painted. Getting ready to reinstall it all.
I do think after going through all these parts, if anyone hasn't going through their suspension since they got their truck to do so. Ubolts had some serious rust on them and some of the dog bone end...
Weather and time has finally lined up. So I was finally able to take the rest of the suspension off. Rear spring came off the trunion pretty easily. I could it hasn't been serviced in a very long time. The grease was pretty hard in spots. So that will all get cleaned up.
But the question is do...
