    BFR, With almost 40K miles I believe it's safe to say she's broken in well. I got her with less than 20K.

    Well, my '67 has the single piston. I could be wrong, but the tag says '66 on it. That's all I know besides seeing single piston compressors on older units like mine.

    RDD, You have the old style single piston compressor like I do. The new compressors are longer and have two pistons in them. They look different than this type.
