    difference between M1088 and M1083

    FWIW, the -10 Operator's Manuals usually have a section near the front that outlines the differences between the models' variants. It isn't as good as first hand knowledge, but it is a good starting point. Here is the section from TM-9-2320-366-10-1 for the M1083.
