Probably an m55a2 but possibly the frame has been lengthened. In the picture from the front it doesn't look like the tandems are far enough back to be an m55a2 but the frame is definitely longer than a standard m54a2. Do you have a better picture of the fuel tank?

m39a2 is the series of trucks. Your truck is probably either an m54a2 (regular wheelbase cargo truck) or an m55a2 (long wheelbase cargo). I can't quite tell from the picture posted above but more pictures would help. The bed on the truck now is not original.

It's very similar to the m809 front end but unlike the m809s the grille is flat not curved outward. The air cleaner on the passenger fender and the intake elbow would indicate it's a multifuel m39a2 series truck.

It's definitely an m39a2 series 5 ton.
