    M38A1 Spark plug gap?

    Is it only fouling #4? i would suspect oil foiling vs fuel fouling. The needle and seat may be stuck, but usually if they are it would flood terriably and foul more than one plug. i would dissasemble carb and clean everything for the running rich problem. Of course in any issue should check...

    Rule of thumb if gap is not known, is 90 degrees to center electrode. Of course proper gap is best, but if in a pinch, just make it square..it will work untill you can find proper gap. or forever..:beer:which ever comes first
