If you have a boost gauge and pyro I would think you could adjust the fuel to not go much over 10 on boost and keep it at 1100 or so?, and not need the waste gate?

Has anyone put one in a truck and retained the (functioning) waste gate? I'm talking about a side mount turbo, serpentine belt 6.5 out of a 97ish GM pickup, with the computer controlled IP etc. . . . I'm aware that to install in a 1028A3 the computer controlled IP goes away, along with the...
