I know it's a little late but when you change out or have to remove the clutch fan leave the belts on the fan cluch and wind up a wrench in the belts till its tight up to the fan pulley. Then since you have allready taken out the two bolts on both sides and the top bolt is loose but not out then...

I still think a rail pressure gage would be nice. If you had put a T where you hooked up the new fuel line you test and gage there.

I would think you can just run her and hope she don't have any fuel knock. If so you will have to regasket the injectors for what I have been reading. Thicker gasket advances thiner retards something along them lines.
Have you given any thought to retarding the timming. More fuel delivery. More fuel pressure. Decrease cyl. compression. Move more air and retard timming from what I gather.
So with increased fuel demand do you feel that the lines leading from the tank all the way to the pump are large enough? Do we leave them alone or try to increase there size to?
