    M923 receiver/hitch assembly

Hey you did see the weight rating on that first hitch right? Only 5k lbs trailer gvwr. I saw another member pull a camper with his 923 on a drop hitch like that and it bent just behind the ball on his first outing. Just a FYI. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Looks great! But please put some grade 8 hardware in place of those bolts. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Good point! Those bolts on the last ones are grade 5! All frame and suspension bolts should be grade 8. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Simple and effective idea, did you put more than just those 2 bolts where those 2 pieces of angle overlap? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    M923 receiver/hitch assembly

Looks great! I don't think you mounted it far enough back though. Another one of our members mounted theirs that far forward and then hooked their camper to it. They lost some of their turning radius, and had a rough time backing it. Their fix was to build a spacer that allowed them to install...

    M923 receiver/hitch assembly

I bought a rear cab cross member from PowerstrokeNC that I'm going to make into a hitch. Granted I think I'll have to disassemble the rear most cross member to get it in between the frame rails but it looks to have enough clearance for the pintle. I'll take some pics when I get it started. It...
