I was not suggesting that getting that much weight on the front was legal on the road or practical just that the strength of the axle was there , just to be clear.
I have talked to Meritor AM General C&C equipment and No luck on any axle specs more than hear say Even asked Memphis equipment were they got there info and they didn't really know.
The ultimate would be to an Rayden air ride in the rear ,in my opinion it gives the best of all worlds in a tandem suspension. Made in Alberta for the oil patch.
I am in contact with a rep from meritor military division trying to get the proper capacity ratings from them for the axles on my M931A1 ,I will post that info if I am successful .
