    They were not fakes. Just made for foreign markets. Looks just like the 831A, but different voltage and hertz.

    Get smart first. See if you can not talk to the folks about getting a MEP-831A instead, or money back. If not see if you can adjust the hertz up. And last, but first thing I would do is PM Dewie.

    Like I told you. This is NOT a MEP-831A. It looks like it, but do not be surprised or mad if its not. You may get lucky with the adjustment screw. Send a PM to Dewie. He should be able to tell you the real deal.

    Says EXPORT on the data plate. Notice it also says, MODEL 960-01-500. So it is NOT a MEP-831A. This is NOT a piece of U.S. Military equipment.
