    The 120 volt outlet is always powered up, as long as the GFI is working and turned on. Is that where you got your 120/240 volt reading? Or just looked at the meter? So, GENERATOR SET FAILS TO GENERATE POWER, would be your first troubleshooting step. And you do know to not turn the volt...
