If I remember right, the R3 needs to be adjusted, when a box is swapped? I am going to bed now, but will take a look see in the morning.

The new/used AC box. Did it come from an MEP-002A or a MEP-003A? They are kinda interchangeable, but not 100%.

I have seen several R-1's burnt. Every time it was someone trying to Troubleshoot a problem, and held up the S-1 in the start position for forty forevers.
