    So how did they bolt 242 to 3 speed ? Splines of the 3 speed are different I think

    I have a hummer and humvee toy collection with some old school hummer factory advertisement material, I noticed they said 3 speed transmission for 1993 model year and that is correct But it also says 242 transfer case, i thought 242 can only be bolted to 4L 80e
