    Sounds like both my old deuces (stock and bobber.) Easy to tell on the bobber if it has a 101 bed. (if he still kept that bed I guess.)

    Have you checked to make sure the shock in the surge brake isn't weak?

    Pinning the surge brakes is the easiest way to stop it, and probably the best solution in the long run (unless you are really going to use the trailer ALL the time.)

    Yeah, a M1009 or M1008 would do great to tow that little trailer. I know I have towed a number of them behind my M1009. They look goofy behind a deuce. Done that as well.

    I am on the way down the pass (sort of..), so I can store it as well. I have the tow bar, safety chains, and Aaron an I can rig the lights (or Dan with all his electrical supply...... ;) )

    You want my BIG safety chains Aaron? 225 miles for pasco to napavine. MOST of the construction over white pass is done. But there are still some rough roads left. I would guess that towing a deuce over the pass, you will be in low range for the climb. I think 7 hours back might be a little...
