I have never had one walk around on a concrete pad but I used a stall mat from the local farm supply to make isolation pads to go under the skids I also used pieces between the skid and lift rings to remove the vibration rattle noise from them.

Hi NATCAD, but of course I do. Engine exhaust is not enough. You don't want to circulate hot air either. I made a hood for my gensets for inside or outside use. I run the engine and cooling exhaust thru the hood and connect it to a duct outside. Screen your intakes to keep wasps and bees...

I take it as the number of conductors in the jacket carrying current. If you are running 240 single phase and have any 120 circuits then you are using 3 conductors.

Just want you guys to understand that current capacity in SOW/SOOW cable is less than individual wires in air. So #6 is rated for 45 amps not 50. My 803 handles 70 amp surges and #6 will heat and break down over time at 70 amps. I use #4 THHN for permanent installations and #2 SOOW for...

I use a 35' 4 gauge cable from my MEP-803A to run my toy hauler (70 amps with 3 ac units running). For perm installations I would use 2 gauge thhn. MEP-803's deliver ~13k with no issue. Why take a resistance hit on wire size.

I would be in jail if I lived in Germany since I kill dirt daubers and yellow jackets on a regular basis! This is what I am doing. I measured the airflow of the unit and compensated for sound reduction materials. Using a spray in material you can mask off any important items you don't want...

I will start one as soon as I get my db meter to get the before and after. I also require the db level to drop. I want to kill 3 birds with one stone! We have the technology!

Not very old :) I bought a 2009 with 200 hours and they did a PM on it in Feb 2015 where they installed new batteries and a new solar charger!!! I was pleased. I still put in a battery maintainer since my unit doesn't get a lot of sun on it. I just had an issue during the global warming ice...

When I worked for DuPont we had a high pressure pump seize in a matter of minutes after being serviced incorrectly with standard oil. They required full synthetic. After that, I did a test on my car and I averaged 1 mile per gallon more with full synthetic than I did with the standard 10w40...
