You can put a valve stem in the tire valve. That will allow you to fill/deflate the tire independently of the CTIS system. It will also isolate that tire from the CTIS system, in effect making it inoperable.

I'm guessing it's designed to let air out and keep debris from entering? Source for replacement or a picture?

Here is a pic of some type of valving fastened to the back side of the frame crossmember behind the rear axle. There appears to be some part or cap missing. Would this be the reason for the rushing air sound and the failure of the rear tires to deflate?

Yes air comes out. Also removing the core will deflate the tire. Tested on both rea tires. They will inflate but not deflate.

Ok removed Schroeder valve. Tire inflates despite a slow leak at the quick deflate angle valve. However rear tires don't deflate. Sound of venting air in vicinity of center of rear axle but tires don't deflate. Suggestions?

Does this mean with a Schrader valve in it it won't deflated properly when the system attempts it?

Put it back together? Is it supposed to have a Schrader valve in it? PS that brings up another problem. The spare and four extra wheels that I purchased with my truck don't fit my truck. Need to sell them.

The valve needs a new valve stem, the silver part. The valve stem coming out of the tire, the brass part, needs to be replaced. It won't accept air for some reason. Where can I get these parts?

Thanks to Coffey1 for his assistance. I tried your suggestion and three tires appear to be working. I'll test deflation tomorrow. Here are some pics of what I have.

I don't even know the parts names. I would be very interested in acquiring an assortment of spare parts. Hwhomes@outlook.com

Yes it appears to do exactly that. I don't hear any air leaking out anywhere.

So each tire has two? One on the pressure valve and one in the stem coming out of the tire? cant tell if the system self checks right now but it seems to. The highway light blinks for a few seconds than all the lights blink. I drained all four tires and none of them are airing up.

What exactly are Schrader valves and what do they do and how are they different from the valve stem inserts on standard tires?

I really don't know. I damaged something on one wheel. It appears to be repaired but now the entire system isn't functioning. Where are the parts commercially available and are there diagrams or charts that allow you to cross reference?
