I got it at Worthington Ag Parts. I had to call a few different locations, they have yards in several states... Some White tractors were missing their engines, others were selling the engine complete as a running take-out and did not want to pull the filter housing off. I finally found one...

The sealing surface diameter is smaller, but you can see that the filter bodies are at least as wide as the cartridge filter housings... take a look at the pics on page one of this thread... there's a shot of the actual Napa 1458 filter. I'd like to get this installed while I'm on vacation...

Devilman, All the filters listed below are supposedly (according to Baldwin's site) equivalent to a Napa 1458. Are any of them better filters or are they all under rated for the deuce? I couldn't find ratings for any of them online. I wondered if there was a bigger or better filter that would...

It's in a White/Oliver 2-155 tractor, I attached a pic of one. The engine came factory installed in those tractors, and that's the stock filter setup, but the 1458 spin-ons may not be any better than the cartridge style filters... Devilman is out camping with the FL and GA guys this weekend...

The "NAPA Gold" spin-on filter that the White 2-155 tractor with the 478 c.i. Hercules engine uses is part number 1458. Has anyone tried to cross this in a filter book to see if there is a better filter that will fit? There is no "1458XD", and from the picture, it doesn't even look like the...
