    Winch Shear Pins

    It would look to me like "cheating" with the 9/32 inch brass would get about 83 or 84 percent of the original strength of a winch that is built for three times more than 90 percent of any of us would ever use it for... Nice... I'll bet they've got piles of that down at the hardware store...
