I was fortunate to find a steering box this weekend. Wasn't sure if it was going to be a problem having the ports for the assist cylinder but you can see that they are in parallel with the internal cylinder and the steering rebuilder that this shop uses says to just block off the assist ports. 5...

The bottom of the goat column is female spline. How did you attach a u-joint? A small section of splined shaft?
