    Post up a want ad in the classifieds section. Chances are someone will give you a rebuildable core, if not you should get one cheap.

    If I were you I would try and find a rebuildable core and just rebuild it and install instead of buying a new one. I know pipe fitter welders are excellent welders, but bear in mind that that housing is cast, and cast can not be reliably welded. Not when it comes to a brake system anyway.
